Why is Vastneonwolf?
This site is what, in days gone by, may have been referred to as a blog, though I prefer to think of it as an electronic, née cyber, spleen – purpose-built for venting.
That is not to say that this digital organ will be a device for pure vitriolic verbosity, NO! It will aim to convey studious thoughts on all manner of topics.
With luck, we will be able open up the lines of communication between all realms of the public sphere. Allow for thoughts to be shared, ideas to be formulated and governments to be toppled! (Okay I was only joking about the last bit.)
Mostly I want to be able to share my take on things I see and read and have you respond, refute and argue. I hope I can spark something in you that will make you want to raise topics with your friends and family that you may not normally raise.
Who or what is Vastneonwolf?
Well now there is a long and convoluted story. Are you sitting comfortably? Then I’ll begin.
A long time ago when Stefan was very young, he became a Goth. He wasn’t very big on 17th Century fashion but he had the pretention down pat. But Stefan had one problem, his Surname wasn’t very Gothic at all. So in a fit of post-eighties angst and rebellion he changed his very simple and very English surname to a very Germanic one.
Thus was born Stefan von Wolfstone!
This name needed an new Internet pseudonym. So Stefan typed his new name into The Random Anagram Generator and out came a bunch of new and unusual combinations.
First was A Nonevents Fowls Oft.
Then Waffles Vet Noon Snot!
Neither were very Gothic. But then he saw Neon Vast Nest Wolf Of. It wasn’t perfect but it had promise! He moved the words around and Nest of Vast Neon Wolf was born!
